The Story Behind the Voice
How music found its way back to me
Music has been with me for as long as I can remember—but it didn’t begin on a stage. It started quietly,
in my early teens, singing along to songs on the radio. Somewhere in those moments, I began creating my own melodies and lyrics without even realizing it. It wasn’t something I shared—it was something I felt. That changed in my early twenties.
At a family gathering, I finally found the courage to sing in front of others. When I finished, I was met with a standing ovation. It was unexpected… and unforgettable. In that moment, something shifted. I knew this wasn’t just something I enjoyed—it was something I was meant to pursue.
Still, I took small steps. I would sing at family events, record myself in karaoke booths, and share those recordings with people close to me. Music was present—but it lived in the background.
It wasn’t until my mid to late twenties that I decided to take it more seriously. I began writing songs, searching for local studios, and eventually formed an acoustic duo. I started performing at open mics and coffee shops—sharing covers, and slowly introducing original music into the mix.
And then, like it does, life took over.
Music didn’t disappear—but it stepped aside. Years went by where it showed up only occasionally—in small gatherings or quiet moments. But the passion never left. The pull toward it never went away. It stayed with me, waiting.
Now, I’ve come back to it—intentionally. With more clarity. More experience. And a deeper understanding of what it means to truly share something with others. This time, it’s not about just singing songs. It’s about connection. It’s about creating moments that people can feel.
My goal is simple:
To share the love, joy, and emotion that music has always given me—and to pass that feeling on to as many people as I can.
